This is a codec for wave files that reduces the filesize without lost of quality.

This is not, as you may think, a decoder for the famous MP3-files. It is just a pcm-wave format encoder that reduces the filesize from Wave-files

You can, as you could also do with pcm-files, choose from different levels of quality.
